COSATU National Strike – 6 July

The labor federation union, COSATU, has today embarked on a national strike across South Africa.
The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) has called upon all its members to partake in the strike action on Thursday. The strike action is expected to affect all major centers across all nine provinces.
We have been receiving reports from various locations that some highways, suburbs and areas are inaccessible at present. Where possible we will maintain delivery time standards as much as possible. However, our ability to deliver or collect your shipments in some instances may be affected.
We have specific contingencies in place, and we will be working on minimizing disruptions as far as possible. The safety and security of our staff is of the highest priority and disruptions will be communicate to you as and when they occur.
