Customer Update – Taxi Strike Action Cape Town – 10 August

Taxi Strike Action Cape Town – 10 August

Dear Valued Customer,

We thank you for your continued support during this time. While the taxi strike
continued today, we are pleased to report that the day has been relatively incident
free. Couriers were able to complete most routes and deliver a significant number of
backlogged deliveries.

According to reports the talks between SANTACO and the City of Cape Town continues
as there has been no resolution to the ongoing challenges. We continue to monitor the
situation and will update all customers as new information becomes available.
We anticipate tomorrow to be much the same as today, although we are conscious of
the fact that the situation remains fluid. Our first objective is to ensure that any
backlogged shipments are delivered as a matter of urgency. We are also putting
necessary plans in place for the coming weekend to handle any outstanding deliveries.

We will endeavour to minimise impact on our delivery and collection services as far as
possible. The safety of our work force remains paramount.

Where specific disruptions occur, we will update all affected customers accordingly.
We remain committed to providing you with a trusted service and reliable service.

Again, we sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding. Should you need
further assistance or details kindly reach out to your Customer Relationship Manager
immediately, or alternatively you can reach out to our live chat team on

Sincerely,

Hein Bruyns
