Customer Update – Taxi Strike Action Cape Town – 9 August

Taxi Strike Action Cape Town – 10 August

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for your continued support during this time. We regret to inform you that in a
statement released by SANTACO this afternoon, the taxi strike in the greater City of
Cape Town region will continue tomorrow the 10th of August. This comes as the talks
between SANTACO and the City of Cape Town, relating to impounding of vehicles,
failed to reach agreement.

As it stands, we are prepared to operate as per normal tomorrow and will be sending
out shipments for delivery in Stellenbosch and Cape Town. All cargo was lodged out of
Cape Town on the 8th of August, and we have received all inbound cargo without
incident.

We need to stress that this situation remains fluid and that while we prepare in
advance for such scenarios, we will need to amend and change plans of action during
the course of the day. We continue to monitor the situation on the ground in order to
identify hotspots and areas of concern. The safety and security of our workforce is of
the greatest importance, and all couriers have been advised to continue to apply
extreme caution while out on the road.

We will endeavour to minimise impact on our delivery and collection services as far as
possible. Where specific disruptions occur, we will update all affected customers
accordingly. We remain committed to providing you with a trusted service and reliable
service.

Again, we sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding. Should you need
further assistance or details kindly reach out to your Customer Relationship Manager
immediately, or alternatively you can reach out to our live chat team on

Sincerely,

Hein Bruyns
