Dear Valued Customers,
The labor federation union, COSATU, has announced its intention to carry out a national strike on 7 October.
The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) has called upon all its members to partake in the strike action on Wednesday.
The union has however urged all its members to stay at home in support of the action, due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, and to comply with current restrictions under lockdown level 1.
It is however likely that several major city centers and towns, across all nine provinces, will be affected by marches and motorcades. This may affect our ability to deliver or collect your shipments in some instances.
We have specific contingencies in place, and we will be working on minimizing disruptions as far as possible. The safety and security of our staff is of the highest priority and disruptions will be communicate to you as and when they occur.
Should you need any assistance on this matter, or any other aspect of our service please feel free to contact your Customer Relationship Manager directly. Alternatively, please contact you nearest Aramex branch for more information.
Kind Regards
