Customer Update – Operational Update

15 July 2020

Dear Valued Customers,

We want to extend our appreciation to all of you who have offered support and encouragement over the past two weeks. We know it has not been easy and again apologize for the frustration that it caused.

I personally would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all staff that have worked around the clock to clear the backlog and to get us back on track.

We are continuing to place massive emphasis on safety and hygiene protocols in all our branches. With the national infection rate climbing sharply we must ensure we protect our staff, customers and business continuity.

It is important to note that with the new regulations announced by government on Sunday, 12th of July we have stopped delivery and transportation of alcohol products with immediate effect. In accordance with the government gazette released on Monday 13 July we must abide by the following:

Section 9, number 44 (2):
The transportation of liquor is prohibited, except where the transportation of liquor is –
(a) In relation to alcohol required for industries producing hand sanitiser, disinfectants, soap or alcohol for industrial use and household cleaning products.
(b) For export purposes; or
(c) From manufacturing plants to storage facilities.

We will strive to regain your trust and confidence in us.

We thank you for your continued patience and support during these unprecedented times.

Sincerely Yours,

George Van Der Merwe
