Customer Update – Suspension of Service to Embargoed Countries

14 April 2021

RE: Suspension of all services to embargoed countries.

Dear Valued Customer,
It is regrettable that we advise you of the full suspension of all international express and freight services, to specific embargoed countries as of immediate effect.

The specific countries that fall under this suspension policy are Syria, Iran, Cuba, and North Korea. Ensuring that we comply with international laws, in line with sanctions imposed, we will be stopping the routing of all shipments to these countries. Sending any shipments to one of these destinations poses significant risk to the entire Aramex global network, which may result in financial penalties and possible sanctions against Aramex.

Aramex South Africa will strictly enforce a “do not collect” policy on any shipments to these countries. This policy will relate to all document or non-document shipments. We have also
intensified our international screening processes within South Africa to ensure full compliance.

We thank you for your understanding and support in this regard. If you need any additional information or support, please contact your Customer Relationship Manager directly. Alternatively,
please reach out to our Aramex Chat Bot service on www.aramex.co.za

Sincerely,

Hein Bruyns
